August 11, 2020 School Board Meeting

BPS continues to modify its meeting protocols in response to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. Up to thirty seats, in addition to Board and staff, will be available to interested community members and media. There will be an online registration process in order to facilitate attendees. Seats will be allocated in the order of registration The registration link will be posted on www.brevardschools.org from Friday, August 7, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., through Monday, August 10, 2020 at 8 a.m. Registrants will be contacted by email on Monday, August 10, 2020 with their registration number and whether a seat will be available. Registrants must arrive in the lobby of ESF between 5:00 - 5:15 p.m. and show ID to receive their seat assignment. Persons wishing to speak who are not pre-registered must register in-person by 5:30 p.m. and then will be added to the speakers list prior to the meeting. If you wish to speak and do not have a seat, you will be waiting outside and called/escorted to (and from) the meeting room.  Those persons attending the Board meeting in person will be required to wear a face covering.

Public comments may also be made through recording and advance registration is required. The registration link will be posted on www.brevardschools.org from Friday, August 7, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., through Monday, August 10, 2020 at 8 a.m. Registered participants will be called Monday, August 10, 2020 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and recorded comments will be played during the appropriate portions of the meeting and tentative budget hearing.

The meeting will be livestreamed through normal viewing channels so that everyone has access to the meeting in real time.
